iPhone to Android explained

Can you copy an iPhone emoji to Android?

Yes—you can copy the Unicode character. No—you cannot force Android to display Apple’s artwork as editable text. The receiving phone or app chooses its own design for that character.

  • Same text: ❤️ remains the same Unicode sequence when copied correctly.
  • Different picture: shape, color, shading, and facial details can vary.
  • Missing box: update the operating system, keyboard, and app; older devices may not support newer emoji.
  • Need an exact image: send a screenshot or image, not an emoji character.
